Dr. Aynur Charkasova received her Ph.D. in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She joined the Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development in 2023, where she serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor, and Honors Program Coordinator. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Human Resource Development such as foundations of HRD, legal & ethical environment in HRD, training and development, career development, social justice in adult education, etc. Dr. Charkasova's research focuses on skilled immigrants with temporary work visas, wage gap between skilled immigrants and natives, STEM workforce, international students and immigration policy.
