Short Bio
Dr. Tony Boucher is Clinical Associate Professor of Athletic Training in the Health & Kinesiology department at Texas A&M University. Dr. Boucher also serves as the Coordinator of Clinical Education for the Master of Science in Athletic Training Program. Dr. Boucher received his B.S. in Zoology from Texas Tech University. He also completed a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Sciences and Master of Physical Therapy from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, TX. He completed his Athletic Training education at Southern Methodist University and received his Ph.D. in Physical Therapy at Texas Woman's University in Dallas, TX. His work experience includes clinical, teaching, and administrative roles within multiple allied health, rehabilitation, and athletic training settings. He currently teaches courses in orthopedic assessment, physical rehabilitation/therapeutic exercise, clinical education, organization and administration. His primary research focus is the role of interventions on neuromuscular recruitment and orthopedic rehabilitation.
